A Quick Movie Update
Lincoln
I've never liked history, and I would rather fall on needles then listen to it. With that in mind, I loved the Lincoln. Daniel Day-Lewis had an amazing performance. The whole movie was basically all dialogue, which to my surprise, I found extremely interesting. Just everything about the entire movie was interesting. There were some of the most amazing shots of Mr and Mrs. Lincoln in front of windows so their bodies were outlined with most of the color taken out. Beautiful, just beautiful. Knowing that Lincoln will die (sorry about the spoiler) in the end didn't effect the movie, for me. My only compliant was that the movie actually felt like two hours. It was interesting and kept my attention, yet I needed to keep a certain amount of energy throughout the movie.
Silver Linings Playbook
I have been a fan of Jennifer Lawrence since I had seen her in Winter's Bone, three years ago. Like always, she was unbelievable. What I enjoyed the most about her was that she played 'angry' well. For the angry/emotional character she had more then one state of anger. I don't know why that's so important, but her believability of the character makes the movie real. The acting was great, but Lawrence is amazing.
